| Gates Adds Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
CLEVELAND, Ohio – May 8, 2006 – The Gates Group, LLC today announces the appointment of Jeffrey S. Guffey as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the firm. Mr. Guffey is responsible for accounting, finance and tax to include financial reporting and investor relations, as well as investment transaction support. He was formerly a Managing Consultant with Navigant Consulting in Washington, DC. Prior to Navigant, Mr. Guffey was the Chief Financial Officer for a hospitality management and development company and was a senior auditor with Arthur Andersen LLP. Mr. Guffey received his MBA from The College of William and Mary and a B.S. from The University of Virginia.
